Our consultants at first analyzed the expectations and constraints and based on that and our unique Data Quality Management Framework proposed a vision for the Enterprise Architecture of the target solution. The architecture was comprised of process, information, application, and technology layers. The process layer defined a process system for the complete lifecycle of every Data Quality control, starting with its business definition, continuing by its design and implementation, towards its execution and solving corresponding Data Quality issues in operations. The information layer defined a metadata model supporting the process execution. The application layer, built on top of Teradata and Informatica technology building blocks, was comprised of integrated components for managing metadata definitions, implementation, and execution of Data Quality controls.
When the proposed architecture was accepted by the client, the implementation of the target solution started using an agile method. Our consultants acted as the leading members of an international team. The project continues and elaborates further the foundations and directions we initially set.
